Happy Mothers Day to All

 

 

 

 

Mother thank you for all the things you did for me that I took for granted.  Too

many things, and I am still remembering.  I remember the time I was small and stayed

gone until after dawn, and no one knew where I was.  I remember how you corrected me

harshly but with love.  Now I know how it feels as I had a small son and knew the dangers that awaited him if no one knew his where abouts.

 

I don't remember if I told you thank you enough for the many things you gave me while

you would go without, or for the times you spent endless hours helping me with one thing or another.

 

How you would worry when I was sick and if I woke you would be right there at my side.

How many times did I cause you unnecessay worry and pain or forget to just listen to you as a daughter should listen to their mother.  Your wisdom exceeded what I knew and because I didn't listen I had to pay a terrible price.  How smart you were, and how ungrateful I was for being disobedient.

 

Mom, your not here for me to thank you now or to wish you "Happy Mothers Day" and I can't take back the times I made you unhappy, but I know how you remember all the good times we had and in your heart I know you knew I loved you so.  Thank you Mom, for loving me so, and when we meet again I am going to give you the bigest hug you have ever had, and if you will sit with me awhile I can try to tell you just how much your love and disipline affected me as an adult.  Mom my life, because I remember the important things you taught me, has brought me many rewards, and like you I taught my son the same solid morals to stand on, and mom you would be so proud of him.
